Oki launches the new C7350 into the Middle East market
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, September 30 - 2004 at 16:06
- PRESS RELEASE
Building on the success of its award winning C7000 Series, the first printer to bring fast, affordable colour printing to the office, Oki, the business printed communications specialist, is now launching its new, even faster C7350 colour and mono printer.
With Oki's C5000 Series meeting the needs of small workgroups and the C9000 Series being ideal for companies with an A3 colour printing requirement, the new C7350 provides fast, professional colour printing and comes equipped with features and applications that make it perfect for medium to large workgroups or corporate departments.
Among these is Oki's PrintSuperVision, a web browser-based software solution for networks that provide a wealth of useful management functions. This tool provides access to networked printer data for monitoring, reporting and managing networked printers. Also shipped with the printer is Print Control software, a job accounting package that can be used to track printer usage and costs.
Another free application that makes the C7350 stand out is Oki's Template Manager, enabling you to create and print documents such as time-plans, business cards and labels.
As with all Oki printers there is the 'Ask Oki' button on the printer's driver screen. This button takes the user straight to a dedicated web site specific to your printer model, where they can find easy to understand suggestions on how to get the most from their OKI printer.
John Ross, General Manager Middle East and South East Europe states: "Oki has always believed in offering businesses of all sizes professional colour printers at affordable prices without asking them to compromise on speed or quality. The new C7350 demonstrates again Oki's ongoing commitment to that belief. The speed, quality, and reliability that this affordable high-volume printer offers, teamed with the print management applications and tools that come with it as standard, makes this machine really stand out from the competition as the only printer medium to large workgroups will need."
With internal duplex printing offered as standard on two of the new versions, the C7350 offers simple, professional and effective double-sided printing for medium to large workgroups. All three models offer resolution of 1200x600dpi, 192MB RAM and a print speed of 24 pages per minute (ppm) colour and 26ppm mono with the first page printed in nine seconds.
Other features include Auto Colour Balance to ensure colour consistency throughout the life of the printer and Auto Media Detect to identify paper weight variations, minimizing paper jams.
The C7350n meets the demand for fast, reliable colour printing in a large workgroup, e.g. for printing reports and presentations for internal use. It can also be upgraded to offer internal duplex printing.
The C7350dn has internal duplex printing as standard so is better suited to environments where there is a demand to print on both sides of the page to create professional looking documents and conserve paper.
With its second paper tray as well as internal duplex printing as standard, the C7350dtn has a greater paper capacity that makes it ideal for larger, busier workgroups. It is also supplied with a floor-standing cabinet which provides paper and toner storage and allows the printer to be positioned anywhere in the office.
