Edara - The new project management service launches in Dubai

Union Properties today announced the launch of Edara, the new Project Management Company headquartered in Dubai.

The company has evolved from a property background having grown with and from one of Dubai's most successful property development companies, Union Properties PJSC, of which it is a wholly owned subsidiary.

Union Properties' Project Management Division has developed at such a rate and degree of success that the board saw the benefit of establishing and forming a project management company, as a separate entity in its own right. Edara are unique as a completely local project management organization utilizing the best of international practices, systems and expertise. They focus on delivering quality rather than quantity, and with their team approach to every project, ensure they deliver on client needs.

Mr. Saeed Mohammed Al Sharid, Board Director of Union Properties and Chairman of Edara, said: "The fact that we have established Edara as a separate project management company gives credence to the success of the Union Properties Group. The groups' growth in project management over the last 5 years clearly demonstrates our ability to understand the needs of the investor and the developer and contribute to the development of their business. Having already been involved in many major projects that are contributing to Dubai's skyline, the future for Edara is looking both bright and prosperous."

Mr. Simon Azzam, Chief Executive Officer of Union Properties continued: "Since forming our own project management division in 1995 I am proud of the many projects we have delivered and the skills, personnel and expertise we have developed. I am confident in the mature and client oriented service we provide with consistency. Our goal is to be at the forefront of quality property development and Edara will mirror that approach in the project management field."

Edara has already been involved in a range of successfully managed projects for Union Properties and several other clients including; the Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates Bank International, Dubai Investment Park, Holiday Inn, the Private Housing Finance Scheme and United Arab Shipping. This experience has covered the management of the design, procurement and construction of villa complexes, office developments, multi-story residential developments, mixed use developments, malls, industrial buildings, mosques and banks.
