eCompany EIM Mail Service upgrades user interface

eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse business unit that provides Internet services and total e-Business solutions, announced that it has upgraded the user interface of its EIM Mail Service to provide subscribers with easier navigation and more options while browsing their e-mail.

This upgrade will allow subscribers to increase their e-mail efficiency and reduce time spent on unnecessary steps to perform actions like send and receive mail, organize their folders and change their preferences.

Explaining the need and user friendliness of the upgraded eCompany EIM Mail Service, Abdulla Hashim, Senior Manager, eCompany, said: "The upgraded interface that we have created results from keeping in touch with global developments in technology and design as well as from listening to our customers. We are constantly in touch with our customers and value their feedback on all matters related to our services."

The upgrade takes into account browsing habits of Internet user and offers a lot more ease of use, is more intuitive than the earlier interface and the panels and icons are neater and better-looking both in colours and in layout. Subscriber tests with the new look and feel drew favorable responses as some processes like organizing folders have been simplified with a two-click process rather than the four clicks required earlier.

"Subscribers can rest assured that the new interface ranks amongst the best in the world in terms of user friendliness and aesthetics," added Abdulla Hashim.

eCompany recently announced the implementation of the anti-spam solution and the provision of free anti virus service till December 2005 for the Mail Service.
