Fumo Communications to promote latest products, systems and technologies at GITEX Dubai 2004

Fumo Communications (Fumo), headquartered in Italy, will introduce their new fibre optic systems and technologies to the Middle East region during GITEX Dubai 2004.

The new high performance fibre optic products boast short lead times and are manufactured under industry standards such as BICSI, EIA/TIA, ISO/IEC.

"This is our first year with our own stand and we are looking forward to increasing our brand awareness and extending support to our existing partners and new prospects," said Mohamed Jeelani, Fumo Managing Director. He added: "We will also have on hand our Group President, Claudia Fusillo and Group CEO, Thomas Morawski and directors from Pirelli Telecommunication cables division in Italy."

Working with Pirelli - ranked as one of the world's leading producers of optical fibres and telecommunications cables with over 20 years experience - Fumo distributes a comprehensive portfolio of state-of-the-art products into the telecoms industry. Their portfolio includes halogen free indoor cables, universal cables, protect non-metallic outdoor cables and metallic armored outdoor cables. In conjunction with Pirelli, Fumo offers the highest levels of quality and performance, coupled with an understanding of present and future requirements of the differing needs of the market.

A wide range of partnerships in Morocco, South Africa, Switzerland, UAE, Canada, Germany, China and USA allows Fumo to leverage its capabilities to the fullest. "Fumo understands the need for the most up to date products and technology for the Middle East region. We know the competition is stiff and we only offer the best product and quality service," elaborated Mohamed.

With Online Distribution Ltd., Gerab Systems and NETS, the regional team based out of Dubai is strengthening the long-standing business tradition and history of trade between Italy and the Middle East region.

Fumo's stand (number 1) is located within the DIC Community Zone in Concourse 2, between Exhibition Halls 7 and 8, at the Dubai World Trade Centre Complex (DWTC) during GITEX 2004. GITEX is open from 10am-7pm from 3-7 October.
