Juggling Act at the Computer Shopper exhibition characterizes The Intel Pentium 4 Processor
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, October 03 - 2004 at 13:17
- PRESS RELEASE
It was all juggles and chuckles on the first day of the computer shopper exhibition, as juggler Allayas Jester E Ryan's performance represented how the Intel Pentium 4 Processor with Hyper Threading Technology helps computers to "juggle" the many tasks that yesterday's PC users conduct simultaneously, such as background virus scanning, web browsing, chat, email, word processing, downloading and spreadsheet, to name only a few.
"Today, and because we are using our PCs for an increasing number of tasks, be it at home or the office, we are multitasking all day long and need the power and technology that enable us to do so without experiencing slowdowns" said Dania El-Kadi, Intel's PR manager in the Middle East and North Africa. "By representing the CPU as two virtual processors, Hyper-Threading Technology makes the computer "juggle" instructions to get more done at one time. We hope that the juggler performance that we setup at the Computer Shopper exhibition helps us communicate this message to visitors in a fun way".
