META Group invited to address Zayed University Informational Technology Forum during GITEX Dubai 2004

META Group Executive Directions Senior Vice President - Luis Leamus is due to give the keynote at ITI's state-of-the-art facilities at Dubai Internet City. "It is with pleasure that META Group have been invited to speak at this event. META Group believes in the exchange of ideas, opportunities and experience and this event is designed to do just that, said Todd McGregor, META Group Regional Vice President and General Manager. The first of its kind in the Gulf region, the IT Forum will play an important part in promoting information sharing in a knowledge-based economy and will address different perspectives of the IT planning process, covering both managerial and strategic dimensions. The Forum has a steering committee of leading executives from the region who oversee and direct the Forum to meet regional requirements and Todd McGregor serves is one of 8 founding members alongside organisations such as ADWEA, Arab Women's Association, CISCO Systems, Dubai e-Government and Dubai Internet City.

"META Group's keynote address - IT Value Management - will introduce the value management framework and discuss how it is optimally instituted with a portfolio management approach. In the end, the goal is to ensure that IT organizations are focused on the right activities for business success," added Leamus.
