With an exciting, revolutionary design and the latest in application software from Apple, the two-inch wide iMac G5 is already attracting a lot of attention at the premier IT event being held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 2-8 October, 2004.

Following the success of the iPod, Apple's iMac G5 is once again set to capture the imagination of computer users throughout the Middle East. With its unique aesthetics comprising of the processor and drives being inconspicuously concealed behind the display panel along with Apple's traditional elegant components, the iMac G5 is undoubtedly the best looking computer available today. Apart from the design, the system is also loaded for performance with options for a 160GB hard drive, up to 2 GB DDR SDRAM and a 1.8 GHz processor to accompany Apple's MAC OS X Version 10.3 "Panther", which includes applications such as mail, iChat, AV, Safari, Sherlock, Address book, QuickTime, iSync, iCal and many more.

Another pioneering feature of the iMac G5 is that it is the first system to bring the powerful 64-bit G5 processor to domestic computer markets throughout the world. Until the iMac G5, the 64-bit option was solely provided to high-end users through the Power Mac G5. But now, other segments of the computer user market can also utilize the iMac G5 for faster and more reliable performance.

Speaking at the GITEX 2004, Elias Abou Rustom, Managing Director of Arab Business Machines (ABM), Apple's Independent Marketing Company for the Middle East, said: " Apple has once again displayed its creative genius through the release of the iMac G5 at the GITEX 2004. The innovative system is the center-piece of our participation in this year's GITEX. We are sure that the iMac G5 is soon going to be the dream product of domestic and business computer users throughout the Middle East."
