IFEX 2005 reaffirms its status globally

GEC used their presence at the Italian furniture exhibition, to promote IFEX 2005 internationally, as the leading high end interior design and exclusive furniture exhibition in the region.

Visitors from around the world attended the Abitare Il Tempo exhibition, where they expressed their favourable interest in the local market and the vast developments that have been taking place in the region. They also demonstrated a keen awareness of the importance of IFEX 2005, which will attract key industry exhibitors, as well as leading companies and brands from around the world.

European visitors also expressed their interest and expectations of IFEX, which is slated to be the exclusive 'Interior Design & Furniture Exhibition' in the Middle East. High-end interiors and furnishings for homes, hotels, offices, and yachts will be exhibited at IFEX 2005. IFEX also aims to expand its visitor profile, which will include government officials, interior design consultants, VIPs, showroom owners, managers and high profile end users, among many others.

The 4th edition of IFEX will be held from 20-24 February 2005, at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition & Conference Centre, and is expecting a larger occupied net space than the last edition of IFEX, in addition to further its reach with new country pavilions from overseas exhibitors, looking to expand their business in the industry. Numerous exhibitors from the world over who participated at the last edition of IFEX have confirmed their participation at IFEX 2005. Moreover, IFEX's participation at the Abitare Il Tempo exhibition in Verona, prompted the participation of Italian companies who are interested in the exhibition itself and the United Arab Emirates as a region.

The exhibition will also once again host a showcase of talent with the 'IFEX Design Awards' competition, a contest organised in accordance with the finest universities in the region. The competition will be held in conjunction with the exhibition, and will encourage interior design college students to tap into their genius and create designs for homes, hotels, offices, and yachts, in turn paving their way into the interior design and furniture industry.
