HH Sheikh Hamdan and HH Sheikh Mohammed tour Etisalat stand at GITEX 2004

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Industry and Chairman of Dubai World Trade Centre, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Minister of Defence and Crown Prince of Dubai, today visited the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) stand at Gitex 2004.
"We are proud too that we, as a corporation, have been instrumental in taking the name of the UAE far and wide and helping to make it a byword for technological and communication excellence. Events such as the recent win of the licence to operate the second GSM network in Saudi Arabia, have confirmed Etisalat's position at the forefront of the regional and world communication industries."
Their Highnesses were guided on a tour of the stand during which they were able to see the Corporation's display of some of its latest products and services. The tour took in the eCompany displays, the Federal e-Government stand, Network Services, E-Vision, Ettihad Etisalat, and Mobile Services. In addition they were informed of the innovations that are still in the pipeline and which will become commercially available in the near future.
