E-Vision showcases push-button advanced pay-per-view service at GITEX

The titles available on e-View are from Hollywood, Arabic, and Bollywood cinema releases. Some eight to nine movies are showing weekly. Kamal Nassif, e-View's manager, said: "e-View is your cinema and video store at home.

E-Vision selects the very best titles in an effort to give viewers a good mix of popular and critically acclaimed films, as well as blockbusters. E-Vision is the only TV entertainment provider in the region to offer an interactive service. In addition to e-View, E-Vision has an interactive gaming channel, e-Games.

Subscribers to E-Vision benefit from a advanced interactive voice response (IVR) system for accessing movies on e-View. Customers can use Etislalat's pre-paid calling cards to transfer credit to their E-Vision smart cards in order to access e-View movies in an attempt to make pay-per-view more convenient and easy to use.

The user-friendly system relies on highly sophisticated IVR, interactive voice response technology, which will guide customers logically through the process of adding credit in the form of tokens to their account in order to enjoy the latest blockbuster movies at home.

E-Vision is the most comprehensive source of TV entertainment in the region. The digital cable provider is a platform for the most prestigious bouquets on the market: Showtime, Orbit, ART, Firstnet and Pehla.

E-Vision is a subsidiary of the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat), and the only cable provider in the UAE. The company was established in April 2000.
