And, to further tap into this high-potential market, the world's largest single-phase residential development substantially invested in spreading awareness about the iconic property in Britain through a focussed first-time participation in the Homes Overseas Show.

The exhibition was held in London's Earl's Court from 24th to 26th September 2005, and was the platform to reach out to not only potential British buyers, but also to other European visitors. The show has a track record for attracting serious home buyers from all across the European continent.

"Europe - and particularly the UK - is a major market for us. We invested time, money and effort in taking a sizeable delegation and promotional materials to the show. We are happy to announce that we have successfully managed to reach the message of Jumeirah Beach Residence to the European and British audience through Homes Overseas," pointed out Hashim Al Dabal, Chief Executive Officer of Estithmaar Realty, developer of the Jumeirah Beach Residence project.

The US$ 1.6 billion Jumeirah Beach Residence sprawls across a massive 22 million square feet of gross floor area covering a length of 1.7 kilometres of Dubai's pristine Jumeirah Beach coastline - the last remaining stretch of golden seaside this side of Jebel Ali Free Zone.

The community will be self-sustaining and will cater to a community of 25,000 people. It will feature 36 residential towers comprising 6,500 housing units and four luxury hotel towers, offering everything from upscale shopping and dinning to leisure and entertainment.

Attractive proposition
"We are attracting all the various kinds of people to Jumeirah Beach Residence from the UK and from other markets around it. People are buying property in JBR whether it is for a second home, or for retirement or as an investment or even as a home while working here. We have seen -- and are continuing to see -- a major response from Britain and that is why we went for the first time to participate at Homes Overseas, a premium show," Al Dabal said.

He pointed out that Homes Overseas featured the best from all across the world. Apart from European properties, the show featured developments from places such as, Canary Islands, South Africa, Bahamas, Canada, the Caribbean, Australia, Thailand, Bali, India, and USA.

"We are proud of our project and are not hesitant to stand up and be counted amongst the world's finest properties on offer to the discerning clientele of Homes Overseas," added Al Dabal.

He pointed out that there are about a dozen seminars that were organised alongside the show. "It is vote of confidence in Dubai, that one of the seminars was dedicated to buying property in the emirate," stated the JBR CEO.
