tmh produces retailer's first regional corporate campaign

  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 06 - 2004 at 15:10
  • PRESS RELEASE

Leading brand management agency tmh has developed 'Experience Virgin Megastore', a regional corporate campaign for the premier music and entertainment retailer.

The campaign broke recently in Dubai and Kuwait with full-page magazine ads, press ads and outdoor MUPIs and billboards. It is also featured prominently throughout Virgin Megastore's latest store at the Burjuman mall extension in Dubai.

"'Experience Virgin Megastore' reflects the true essence of the brand and the unrivalled experience it offers men, women and children of all ages and nationalities. We were very impressed with the quality of tmh's work, the refined creativity they demonstrated in conceptualizing this campaign, as well as their dedication and professionalism." said Jean-Claude Torbey, Virgin Megastore Regional Marketing Director.

The campaign features customers listening to music, reading a book, watching a movie, playing a video game and taking a digital photograph, thereby highlighting the retail store's diversified offerings in music, movies, books and multimedia.

"In this campaign, we wanted to capture the emotional appeal of the brand through the eyes of consumers," said John Deykin, managing director of tmh. "Using quotes from classical literature books down to the latest pop song, we also wanted to illustrate the extensive range on offer at Virgin Megastore across all product categories. We are delighted to be working with Virgin Megastore and wish them continued growth and success."

Standing in the Deira City Centre store, buzzing with customers, Torbey comments, " In fact, look around and you will see the customer at the music listening post, humming happily to Amr Diab's latest CD or the little boy standing in front of a digital screen engrossed in the latest Harry Potter movie."
