The event will be represented by DTCM Manager Events Mr. Marwan bin Beyat who will supervise the distribution and dissemination of information to the media for coverage in their respective countries.
DTCM's participation in UAE Desert Challenge 2004 comes within its framework to actively participate in all events from sports to religious events.
The department is participating in cooperation with the events organising committee headed by the Chairman Mr. Mohammed Ben Sulayem. The event spanning six days, will start with the Prologue, a spectator "show" stage in Dubai which serves as a qualifying stage and establishes the running order for the main event in the desert.
While the majority of the event takes place in the Rub Al Khali, or Empty Quarter, spectators will be given a ringside seat as the powerful international assembly of men and machines contest the Prologue stage, starting at 4.30 pm on October 10 at Jebel Ali Racecourse.
