Wipro showcased its entire suite of business enabling solutions, which included expertise in handling projects in diverse technologies and across industries. For instance, skills in software application development and maintenance, ERP, SAP, package implementation, industry specific solutions (manufacturing, energy & utilities, banking & finance, government etc.), IT infrastructure management, e-governance & e-business solutions, business consultancy, and disaster recovery.
In continuation with its vision to be a global IT services organization, Wipro entered the Middle East in June 2001. It started off by signing a major agreement with Dubai e-Government Department to provide high-end operations management services from its hi-tech data centre located at the Dubai Internet City. The project enabled the Dubai residents to get round the clock, uninterrupted e-services, backed by infrastructure support. Since then working on various technologies and across industries, Wipro has built a strong customer base in the Middle East.
Today Wipro has expanded its business across the Middle East to include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait and Turkey. Wipro has continued to provide high value-added IT Services and Solutions including Infrastructure Management Services, IT Outsourcing, Consulting, Software and e-procurement services to organisations throughout the Middle East.
