DIB adds online access to its mobile banking service

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) today announced that Al Islami Mobile Banking service has paved the way for its customers to access their Al Islami Online account, track all their transactions, use SMS updates, and enjoy the user-friendly experience of PDA Banking 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Mr. Mohammad Al Ameery - Senior Vice President and head of branches UAE, said: "The new service allows customers to carry out a range of account transactions through their cell phones. The new service confirms the reputation of DIB as a leader in technology adoption and further enhances the services it offers to its growing customer base.

"The introduction of this service puts in place one of the main building blocks of the bank's integrated technology development plan that is aimed at delivering high-quality service to its customers." Al Ameery added.

Emphasising the bank's commitment to offering its customers new and innovative services, Mr. Syed Zia Islam - Assistant Vice President, Electronic Banking -DIB, said: "The pace of life is such that our customers often do not have the time to visit the bank just to carry out transactions or pick up information.

"We understand this and have responded with this service which gives them the convenience and access they need. Al Islami Mobile Banking Services is an important part of the bank's strategy to offer its customers multiple service channels to accommodate their daily banking needs."

Al Islami Mobile banking enables DIB customers to access their Al Islami Online account to see details of transactions, download bank statements, transfer funds, and pay utility and Etisalat bills online. Additionally, subscribers to the service will also receive regular updates on the products and services offered by the bank through instant SMS updates.
