COMCAVE Group launches new website specialized for Arab Companies

  • United Arab Emirates: Thursday, October 07 - 2004 at 09:18
  • PRESS RELEASE

e-Procurement leader COMCAVE launches Arabic tailored website eTejara.com at GITEX Dubai 2004.

Government tenders have long been exclusive with limited accessibility, especially for foreign companies. European companies have long vied for tender opportunities with Arab governments and now, Arab companies can compete for EU tenders on an even playing field through eTejara.com. The COMCAVE eBusiness platform for global B2G, B2B and eProcurement sets an international benchmark for the implementation of global business communities.

"eTejara.com brings together key components from the buyer and seller arenas to allow the private sector to capitalize on vertical market opportunities from the public sector," explained Mr. M. Al Jaber, Chief Executive Officer of COMCAVE. "The tender process, particularly with governments, can be tedious. eTejara.com streamlines this process in addition to serving as a marketplace in its own right where buyers and sellers exchange goods and services on the best possible terms," he added. eTejara.com also allows traders to find, offer, compare and buy products and services online.

The platform provides an online architecture, combined with a wide set of tools that allow all parties involved to benefit. Enterprises of different industries can use this commerce and procurement platform in order to optimize their selling and procurement process. Beyond tenders, access to auctions and a multiplicity of features and facilities is also part of the platform.

Tailored to the Arab market, eTejara.com affords Arab companies the opportunity to operate worldwide and benefit from the digital transition and globalization. Building upon its European and Arab expertise, COMCAVE is also featuring The ARAB CENTER during GITEX. The ARAB CENTER is a meeting point of economy, science, culture and politics designed to offer Arab and German public and private enterprises and institutions network support to promote cooperation with local institutions and authorities.

COMCAVE's stand (number 17) is located within the DIC Community Zone in Concourse 2, between Exhibition Halls 7 and 8, at the Dubai World Trade Centre Complex (DWTC) during GITEX 2004.
