JorAMCo flies aircrafts high with ACCPAC
- Jordan: Thursday, April 04 - 2002 at 12:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Company (JorAMCo), the company specialized in aircraft maintenance services at Jordan's Queen Alia International Airport, today announced that it has completed setting up its information technology backbone on the ACCPAC platform.
CATS, the Jordan based software provider and ACCPAC's partner in Jordan, handled the execution of the project. CATS worked with JorAMCo to define the scope of the project, the design of the system, the processes that needed to be customized for the company along with the migration of data to the new ACCPAC solution. "With ACCPAC Advantage Series 5.0, JorAMCo is today using less resources for more intelligent financial decision making," said Nishan Nalbandian, Projects Manager in CATS. "The financial management system at JORAMCO today is sophisticated enough to handle the complexity of the company's operations, yet simple enough for its staff to use it quickly and efficiently. "
ACCPAC Advantage Series 5.0 is the first mid-market accounting software to support the world's leading commercial databases, including IBM DB2 Universal Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle 8i and 9i, Computer Associates Ingres II and Pervasive.SQL 2000. "Because it runs on a multitude of platforms and integrates with any other software application, companies that invest in ACCPAC Advantage Series 5.0 today continue benefiting from their investments as their businesses grow and as they add on more applications to their system," said Nalbadian.
"Jordan is quickly catching up with the race for business efficiency due to the alertness of its leaders and its businesses to the changes in regional and global markets," said Marc Van der Ven, ACCPAC's regional manager. "With ACCPAC technology, we exceed Jordan's business sector needs for high present and future returns on their investments; with our channel strategy, we ensure ACCPAC's client base in Jordan ongoing quality support for their businesses," said Van der Ven.
