Other phones that were unveiled during the ITU Telecom Asia 2004 exhibition in Busan, Korea this year included the 2.0 mega pixel and 3.0 mega-pixel camera phones. These phones support digital multimedia broadcasting allowing users to view video channels of superior picture quality on demand with biometric fingerprint identification.
"LG is commercialising a health care mobile handset for diabetics. LG's DMB phone, the SB-100 folder model, has a 2.4-inch main display panel with an external screen and a battery life capable of supporting one and a half hours of video. Satellite DMB is a next-generation feature that enables people to enjoy broadcasting on the move via handheld terminals like cell phones or personal digital assistants (PDAs).
With the advent of the mobility specific service, people will be able to watch seamless video with CD-quality sound. Mobile reception up to 150 kilometers per hour will also be possible through in-car terminals.
