Under the terms of this agreement, PWC will provide fuel loading, transportation, and unloading services from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) refineries to SOMO facilities in Iraq. The total value of the contract is KWD1.5 million (US$5.0 million) over a three month period.
Mr. Khaled Al-Mutawa, General Manager of Business Development at PWC Logistics, commented, "The renewal of the contract reflects the strong performance that we and our partner, Geotech, have achieved in transporting large quantities of fuel to Iraq on a daily basis."
