Special award for Department of Civil Aviation Dubai from Tejari.com

Tejari has presented the Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai, with a special award for 'Highest number and volume of Awarded Auctions, 2004'.
In the first nine months of 2004, there has been a 60% increase in tendering over Tejari by DCA as compared to the same period last year. Total volume of business conducted over Tejari amounted to Dhs 5 million in 2002, Dhs 7.7 million in 2003, and it is expected to be over Dhs 10 million in 2004.
Mr Ali Nasser Lootah, Director , who received the award from Sheikh Lubna Al Qasimi, CEO, Tejari.com. commented: "It is the strategy of DCA to implement an online system which will ultimately result in a completely paperless transaction. We have been working on our systems for the last couple of years and this is an achievement for us."
