  • PRESS RELEASE

Emirates is inviting ladies to engage in the fine art of conversation to improve their English.

General English, Business English and Presentation Skills courses are also on offer for both men and ladies at the Emirates Aviation College (Aerospace & Academic Studies) near Dubai International Airport.

The English Conversation course is held over a four-week period in two-hour morning sessions three times a week at the college in an informal atmosphere, with tea and coffee served.

College Principal Mohammed Al Budoor said: "The courses are a very popular social event among ladies from various nationalities, including UAE, Chinese and Thai. We have found that they give ladies the confidence to go on to take some of the English language courses."

The English language courses, for both men and women, are run on a continual basis throughout the academic year on Thursday mornings and in the evenings. The General English course is aimed at those wishing to improve their English in reading, writing, listening and speaking. The Business English course is based around business scenarios and business vocabulary.

Better Business Writing is at three levels - Basic, Intermediate and Advanced, while the Presentation Skills course covers techniques for making an oral presentation to an audience.
Those interested can call Business Development Controller Maha Abdullah Hmeid on 04 - 282 4000.
