Under this agreement, PWC will provide warehousing and distribution services to Spinneys retail stores in Lebanon, located in multiple locations throughout greater Beirut, Tripoli and Sidon, for a period of fourteen years. The total value of the contract will depend on the volume of products handled by PWC for Spinneys.
Essa Al-Saleh, PWC Logistics' Managing Director -Corporate Development, commented, "We are delighted to be working with Spinneys, Lebanon's foremost grocery retailer." He continued, "By outsourcing their logistics, Spinneys will both lower their supply chain costs and be able to focus more closely on sales and marketing, their core competencies."
PWC maintains similar services agreements with several Co-op stores in Kuwait and the Jawad Group in Bahrain.
