The e-investor solution will be executed by Bahrain's largest national auditing and management consulting firm, BDO Jawad Habib using Microsoft technologies.

"We are pleased to be working with Microsoft on implementing the e-Investor solution. Our partnership with Microsoft has provided us with the technical knowledge required for applying the best solution for the project. By implementing the e-Investor solution, the Kingdom of Bahrain has now put itself on the technology road map of the region and the world." H.E. Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Minister of Commerce.

"Microsoft has a solid, long standing relationship with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Through the e-Investor initiative, we have strengthened our commitment to the Kingdom, it's government and people," says Ali Faramawy, vice president for Microsoft Middle East and Africa.

The e-Investor adds a new dimension to the recently set up Bahrain Investment Center that consolidates all Governmental bodies in the Kingdom.

The e-Investor project was initiated with a vision to simplify business processes for investors into the Kingdom of Bahrain. Complementing the one-stop-shop for investments in the Kingdom, Bahrain Investment Center, e-Investor seamlessly integrates all different bodies of the Government of Bahrain. By simplifying the commercial registration process, the project aims at encouraging higher investments into the Kingdom. The e-Investor also maintains operational efficiency and customer orientation through delivery services based on the best practices and solutions, while interacting with external organizations involved in licensing activities.

The Kingdom of Bahrain now stands as a role model for other countries in the region - being one of the first Governments to integrate all Ministries around the e-Investor.

"We share the Ministry's vision to simplify business processes for the international as well as local business community with opportunities to conduct business within the Kingdom in a more competitive yet convenient environment. " said Faramawy.
