- PRESS RELEASE
Budget Rent A Car Company has placed orders for over 100 Chevrolet vehicles this year as part of its continuous efforts to increase its fleet and meet the needs of its customers.
Muneer Alhasan, Regional Fleet Sales Manager for General Motors, expressed his delight at the signing of the partnership with Budget. "Competition was fierce for Budget's business and we are very pleased that Chevrolet vehicles, which are specifically built for this region, were Budget's final choice," said Alhassan, adding that all these vehicles are reliable, and durable, and leaders in their respective categories.
Commenting on the deal, Duncan Peat, General Manager, Budget UAE, said: "We are particularly delighted to close this deal with Chevrolet. These vehicles will definitely be a significant addition to our continuously expanding fleet in the Middle East. The variety of the models we have chosen shows Budget's commitment to meet the diverse needs of our customer base."
Peat went on to say that the safety and comfort features in addition to the luxury specifications available in these cars would certainly appeal to Budget customers, making the experience of renting an SUV from Budget more fun and enjoyable.
Chevrolet's heritage in the region stretches back more than five decades - over this time, people across the Middle East learned that the Chevrolet badge is one they can trust. This is a key selling point for fleet and private customers alike.
"Today Chevrolet offers the widest range of passenger vehicles and trucks in the region," added Alhasan. "From entry-level cars like the Aveo, to full-size luxury sedans such as the Caprice Royale, through to popular tough off-roaders like the TrailBlazer EXT and Tahoe, our long experience in the Middle East has helped Chevrolet hone its experience and expertise to meet the specialised requirements of drivers in the region."
