Microsoft recognizes Seven Seas' efforts at GITEX 2004
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, October 24 - 2004 at 10:39
- PRESS RELEASE
In a statement issued today, Bahaa Isaa, Communications Manager and Project Manager GITEX 2004, Microsoft lauded Seven Seas for their work at GITEX 2004.
Microsoft chose Seven Seas as their GITEX 2004 system integrators. In an agreement signed on September 19, Seven Seas was handed a contract to furnish services, support, hardware, wired and wireless network connectivity and network security for the Microsoft stand at GITEX 2004.
Says Nayagam Pillai, Executive Manager, Seven Seas "We serviced nine stands at GITEX this year and we made sure that all our clients had timely help at hand. The Microsoft stand was particularly challenging because we had to coordinate and synchronize with the stand contractor to ensure that our cabling and networking equipment fit-in and worked right. All this in a 12 hour window."
Adds J. Krishnamurthi, Group Marketing Manager, Seven Seas, "We started our ground work early and kept in constant touch with the Microsoft team throughout the project. We discussed and sorted out even the smallest of issues and possible pitfalls. We pooled our support engineers effectively across the nine stands that we were responsible for. Our customer support engineers and logistics team did a great job. We enjoyed working with Microsoft and we appreciate the faith they have shown in our service and support capabilities."
