Prime US contractors confirm participation in Iraq Procurement 2004

The Iraq Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be sending a high level delegation to the forthcoming Iraq Procurement 2004 - Amman event, to take place at the Grand Hyatt Amman and Zara Expo Centre in Amman, Jordan on 22-24 November 2004.

The delegation will be made up of senior US contractors in Iraq, with confirmations already from key primes such as Parsons, Fluor, KBR, Bechtel and Ch2Mhill. More are expected to follow.

Iraq Procurement looks to realise the enormous trade and investment potential of Iraq and aid the country's future development, by offering opportunities for the international business community to meet with senior decision makers to form partnership agreements and secure the supply of essential goods and services.

The event is almost fully subscribed, with only a select few places remaining. These remaining places present a fantastic opportunity for companies to increase their chances of successfully conducting business in Iraq by forming partnerships with local Iraqi firms.

Iraq Procurement has attracted support from the Iraq Embassy in London, the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce and the Iraqi-British Business Council, and with just over a month to go looks set to be an overwhelming success.
