Mr Stephen Twining hosts tea training for new green tea range

Mr Stephen Twining, Corporate PR Director, Twinings Tea - a man who belongs to the tenth generation of the famous tea family and a company whose name has been synonymous with tea for almost 300 years visited Dubai recently for the launch of the new Green Tea range.

Part of his visit included informative hotel industry training sessions with some of the leading hotels of Dubai. Participating hotels included Hilton Jumeriah, Royal Mirage, Taj Palace, Metropolitan Palace and Crown Plaza.

The purpose of the hotel industry training programme was to generate awareness about the new green tea blends and to highlight its health benefits, while also speaking on the history and tradition of Twinings Tea and spreading awareness of tea-culture and market trends prevalent world-over.

Speaking on increasing popularity of tea through generations, Mr. Stephen Twining explained the key etiquettes of tea drinking and the art of making and serving a perfect cup of tea.

Commenting on his visit, Mr. Twining said, " I am delighted by the overwhelming response received. My visit to Dubai is to reaffirm the commitment of Twinings to its Middle East customers and to enhance their enjoyment of tea. The UAE is a fast growing market for us, which is evident from the 45 per cent growth recorded in the Green tea range since its introduction to this market three years ago."

He added," Tea is truly a drink of personal choice. One needs the right blend of colour, strength and flavour for a perfect cup of tea.
