District cooling is popular worldwide because it offers a variety of additional benefits to landlords and tenants including; maintenance-free cooling; reduced noise; saved building space that can be used for other more valuable purposes and better temperature control. Tabreed is the only company in the UAE offering district cooling services and currently has approximately 100,000 refrigerating tons under contract. The long-term governmental, residential and commercial projects across the UAE include Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, RAK, Dubai and Zayed Military City.

Energy saving cooling solutions showcased at RAVEX
Pioneers of district cooling in the UAE, Tabreed - the National Central Cooling Co. (PJSC), will be showcasing their environmentally friendly, energy saving cooling solutions at the first International Exhibition and Conference for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (RAVEX 2002).
