Exact Software expands tailored training program for Middle East companies

Following the recent announcement that it has developed its application to meet the needs of accounting, payroll and human resource requirements of companies in Gulf states, Exact Software has now introduced a tailored training program which takes into consideration local business practices, and which helps locally trained employees integrate the technology into their standard working practices.

The training, conducted by Exact Software's own consultants, is designed to enhance employees' existing skills, rather than forcing them to change their skill sets to adapt to new software, often built around US accounting practices.

"Businesses in the Middle East require an ERP solution that can integrate with the environment in which they work," said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East. "A software package that is universal is limited, and companies will see a reduced return on investment."

Exact Software Middle East, which operates a direct sales and implementation model for its customers across the region, provides direct, intensive training on its Exact Globe 2003 Enterprise solution. Its trainers demonstrate the complete functionality of the software to customers, with added emphasis on applications that have been tailored specifically for their market.

Companies deploying the Exact solution receive a higher return on their investment, as the vendor implements the software, and provides ongoing technical support. The instruction from Exact's own staff, means customers receive the best and most up-to-date learning, compared with training on other ERP solutions, which is often carried out by the vendor's partners.
