- PRESS RELEASE
Systimax Solutions, a worldwide leader in enterprise network connectivity solutions, announced today the appointment of Darren Stratton as its new director for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Greece region.
"We are very pleased to have Stratton join us as the new head for the MENA region," said Dieter Bodingbauer, managing director for SYSTIMAX Solutions, Central & Easter Europe, Middle East and Africa. "Stratton has solid experience in the networking and cabling market both internationally and within the Middle East; we believe his valuable expertise will undoubtedly help develop our strength in the region."
Stratton was previously an account manager at Eastern Networks, a regional business partner of Equant, where he was responsible for the business development and account management of the Equant Network and Integration Services portfolio, as well as the service and business development of the first financial network service bureau in the Middle East. Prior to Eastern Networks, Stratton has served as service implementation manager with AT&T Business, where he was responsible for the end-to-end management of a range of activities including business development, deployment, implementation, operations, support and service delivery for new services and solutions offered in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
"SYSTIMAX Solutions has been involved in some of the most ambitious developments taking place in the region, including Dubai Internet City, the Dubai Marina project with its 'smart homes' and Qatar's new high-tech ASPIRE sports academy. We are facing a very exciting time in the region, particularly with the Gulf's huge boom in high-tech business and residential developments. I am certainly looking forward to working with SYSTIMAX Solutions and be part of this uniquely dynamic market," said Darren Stratton, sales director SYSTIMAX Solutions, Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Greece.
SYSTIMAX Solutions recently unveiled details on the upcoming launch of its new cabling solution that is designed for the next-generation 10 Gigabit Ethernet standard for twisted pair cabling (10GBASE-T). Set to be the biggest technology development in today's networking industry, the complete cabling system from SYSTIMAX Solutions will be launched in December and will provide ten times the connectivity speed of today's standards and will be the first offering in the market that is compliant to the guidelines set by the IEEE Task Force.
