- Egypt: Wednesday, November 10 - 2004 at 16:12
- PRESS RELEASE
Focus Multimedia, the renowned independent British PC software publisher, has joined forces with interFRONTIERS, the leading specialist in Business Development and Management in the Middle East, Africa and South Eastern Europe.
Publishing largely within the budget sector of the home PC software market, Focus is led by an expanding team of professionals, who are dedicated to bringing quality products to the home user at an affordable price. This has led to an exceptional rate of growth in the last few years, with Focus scoring number 1 in the annual reports of Chart-Track (the software industry's retail sales monitoring service) for both 2002, 2003 and todate 2004. The ongoing success of the company has much to do with its extensive product catalogue, which has been carefully designed to ensure that it offers something for all the family. Titles cover a range of subjects, including games, lifestyle, entertainment, knowledge, children, productivity, creativity, and travel, and Focus has partnered with some of the best names in publishing, including Oxford, Lego, Britannica, and others.
For the young (and young at heart), games provide hours of fun, but many of Focus' products are intended to be educational and practical. Encyclopedias, atlases and language learning software are popular with all ages, while work skills can be improved through a range of different titles, which include realizing the power of the computer through desktop publishing, design, spreadsheets, and more. Hobbies are not forgotten, from re-designing a garden without lifting a fork, to cross stitching, origami, and family tree creation.
Craig Johnson, Managing Director of Focus Multimedia, is keen to see the company make inroads into the Middle East: "At Focus, we produce an exceptional range of software products at prices that people can afford. Our approach of providing quality products at sensible prices has proven very successful within the UK and other English Speaking countries around the world, and we are keen to expand our clientele to include computer users throughout the Middle East."
Lenia Iacovides, Managing Director of interFRONTIERS, is positive that working with Focus multimedia will be beneficial for all concerned: "We are proud to play a part in introducing Focus software to the Middle East, where the IT sector is expanding at a phenomenal rate. We are certain there will prove to be a great deal of demand throughout the region, and we look forward to providing discerning customers with quality products. With this in mind, we are keen to develop the brand within the Middle East through local partners."
