The exhibition, which has seen 30 percent expansion in floorspace, is being held from January 31 to February 3, 2005 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC). This year, the show has expanded its exhibitor base to focus on six main areas: Automation, Instrumentation, Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Robotics and Diagnostics.
Commenting on this year's show, David Domoney, Managing Director of THE DOMUS GROUP, the show's organisers stated, 'ArabLab was conceived to primarily cater to the large and developing healthcare and medical laboratory industry. However, the show has now evolved into a one-stop buying source for a much larger spectrum of instrumentation products. We are seeking to target new industry sectors such as Education, Environment, Public Services, Health, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing at this year's show.'
'The exhibition has become an ideal platform for sourcing the latest manufacturing and instrumentation products and keeping abreast of new technologies. ArabLab the EXPO 2005 will feature several national groups from Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Spain, the U.K, Korea, China, Australia and New Zealand. The show is expected to attract over 7,00 industry professionals from over 60 countries,' he continued.
Another unique aspect of the show is the fact that is being held in conjunction with a series of industry-related events, seminar and conferences, all part of the International Laboratory Week. This not only brings better exposure to exhibitors, but also offers international visitors a comprehensive view on the latest developments in the laboratory technology and instrumentation. The Instrumentation show, BioLab, EnviroLab International Laboratory Conference, Gulf Instrumentation Forum and The Testing Range are all being held on the sidelines of ArabLab the EXPO.
'The UAE is an established trading hub for countries in the Middle East and North Africa region. The show thus attracts professionals from several industries looking to source high-end instrumentation from across the world. By hosting an in-depth International Laboratory Week, The Domus Group is providing added incentive to trade visitors to visit the show,' concluded Domoney.
