VERITAS alerts UAE's SMB market on trends in managing data growth

The two VERITAS seminars, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on 23 November and Dubai on 24 November, will demonstrate to decision-makers how to automate data management, protect themselves against information downtime, and recover from unexpected data loss. The roadshow has made stops in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Lebanon over the last two months.

In addition to educating end-users, the VERITAS events will also include a technology training update for the company's reseller community in the Emirates. Local organizations are expected to attend to enhance their knowledge and skills in the areas of data protection, recovery, and management.

The UAE events will act as platforms to highlight a number of VERITAS' innovative support programs, like DirectAssist, which is a free Web-based program aimed at SMB's with limited technical resources. This programme enables users to resolve their own support issues with automated Web-based assistance.
