Swiss giant Brugg Group to participate at Big Five for the first time

The Brugg LLC, with an annual turnover of Dirhams 1.225 billion (Euro 260 million), comprises 4 divisions with more than 30 firms, spread over 9 countries, plus agencies in all the important industrialized countries.

Brugg's Pipe Systems LLC will showcase its latest EIGERFLEX® Cool products, a flexible pre-insulated polyurethane foamed PE-pipe system for district cooling, with an outstanding insulation value. Pipe Systems offers solutions for the transport of any kind of liquids or gases, from the planning support phase of the project through engineering and project management to final installations.

Compared to other existing products, EIGERFLEX® Cool is a bonded self-compensating system that, through its technologically advanced insulation mechanism, uses 30% less insulation materials and reduces energy loss by 20%, as compared to other non-bonded systems with cross-linked PE foam. EIGERFLEX® Cool has a smaller diameter, which translates into direct economic advantages, where pipes have become more flexible and can be fitted quicker into smaller trenches with longer delivery length and less risk of leaking.

The district cooling segment is very relevant to the region, especially in Dubai where community based construction projects are on the rise. Brugg technology and innovation in this field has produced piping that reduces time to construct secondary system by 45%, which translates into huge cost savings.

In the oil and gas sector, Brugg's special piping systems for petrol stations will also be showcased at a time when the first such project is in the implementation stage in Kuwait Brugg products have been internationally recognized with diverse innovation prizes and the company is certified according to ISO 9001/14001.
