International enthusiasm for Hotel Show 2005

Nearly three quarters of the available space has already been booked by overseas Pavilions and individual exhibitors from the Gulf region and overseas.

So far, 10 National Pavilions have signed up to take part in the Hotel Show 2005: from China, France, Portugal, Germany, Greece, Malta, Mexico, Spain, Turkey and the UK. Individual bookings have been received from as far afield as Austria and Australia, Italy and Indonesia, the Philippines and Portugal, Oman and Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Switzerland, Thailand and the United States, as well as from the major players in the hotel and hospitality industry in the United Arab Emirates.

Due to this growing global demand for space, The Hotel Show will occupy three halls at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre for the first time in 2005, having outgrown its previous location at the Airport Expo venue.

The Hotel Show in Dubai is the most important dedicated trade fair for the hospitality industry in the Arabian Gulf. It is the essential international showcase for hotel and hospitality products, services and technologies. 306 companies from 33 countries, including 9 national pavilions, took part in the Hotel Show 2004. 5,640 professional visitors represented an increase of 14% compared to 2003.

For regional and international suppliers to the booming hotel and leisure industry in the Middle East, The Hotel Show offers the best opportunity to take advantage of a growth industry that has no equal anywhere in the world. Visitors include hotel and resort developers and owners, international management companies, general managers, purchasing and procurement managers, interior designers, architects and specialist engineers.

The Hotel Show 2005 will take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from 22 -24 May 2005, alongside The Office Exhibition. Both events are open to trade and professional visitors only.
