UOWD hosts first business forum at Knowledge Village

University of Wollongong in Dubai will host a special forum designed to help businessmen and professionals better understand the legal aspects of trade in the UAE.
Topics for discussion will include the latest developments in finance, regional economics and trade, and the impact of the UAE's distinct cultural and legal environment on business communities.
Employment, migration, contracts, e-commerce, intellectual property, basic commercial litigation, and arbitration are other issues set to figure prominently at the forum.
Dr. John Simpson, Associate Professor at the UOWD, said: "Titled Business Environment of Dubai and the Emirates: Present and Future, this University of Wollongong forum allows for business people in the UAE to share concerns, explore new opportunities, and build effective relationships in an open and constructive environment.

A panel of distinguished speakers from business, the legal profession and the academic community will address the forum; Peter Linford, the senior Australian Trade Consul in Dubai, will be the keynote speaker.
