- Wednesday, November 17 - 2004 at 16:28
Banking and investing at-your-fingertips, 24 hours a day, all week, every week, from anywhere in the world.
- access all your accounts
- check credit card statements
- make payments and inter-account transfers
- open new accounts
- even manage your investments online
Internet Banking is a safe and convenient way to manage your offshore banking and investment accounts, from wherever you are.
How do I start?
1. You need an Internet connection, a PC and an HSBC Bank International Limited bank account. (You can Open an Account if you do not have one already).
2. You'll then need to register for Internet Banking, which you can also do right here online, in a matter of minutes.
3. To bank online, you then simply logon using the ten-digit Personal Banking Number (PBN) and a six digit PIN, which you'll automatically receive when you open an offshore bank account with us.
If you're new to Internet Banking: we suggest you read through our FAQs andtake a look at the Internet Banking Demo. Both are designed to answer any questions you may have so that by the time you get online to bank or invest, it's all second nature.
If you need a PBN and/or PIN reminder: please click here. Alternatively, call our International Direct Banking on +44 1534 616 100.
How do I know it's safe?
HSBC Internet Banking uses 128-bit encryption, one of the most advanced security technologies available, to safeguard your online banking.
Encryption is a process that transforms sensitive information into a string of unrecognisable characters before they are sent over the Internet, and helps provide a secure channel for data transmission.
You may wish to visit our security site to see what HSBC and you can do to make banking online as secure as banking any other way.
