EMAAR Properties appoints EK Group as marketing representative in Bahrain

EMAAR Properties Director of Sales, GCC and Middle East Region, Mr. Mansour Al-Othaimin and Sheikh Hussam E. Al Khalifa, President and Chief Executive Officer of EK Group signed the agreement appointing EK GROUP as the marketing representative of EMAAR in Bahrain in Manama.

Commenting on the new agreement, Mr. Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Chairman of EMAAR Properties said: "Through this marketing representation agreement with the EK Group, EMAAR Properties is confident that we will attract more interest from Bahrain to invest in our world-class residential development projects of EMAAR now underway in Dubai. Bahrain is an important new market for EMAAR and this agreement is the first step in our efforts to raise awareness and attract more interest toward our projects in Bahrain."

EK Group, which was established in 1965, has evolved into a cohesive, multifaceted organization. Core group activities range from general trading to manufacturing, covering a wide range of activities that include media advertising and promotion, general services, real estate business and computer consultancy services.

In real estate, EK Group provides comprehensive management services including property sale, purchase, letting, valuation surveys, building management, rent reviews and lease renewals.

Sheikh Hussam E. Al-Khalifa, President and CEO of EK Group gave the following statement at the signing ceremony: "EMAAR is a name that is very well known for developing excellent homes, both apartments and villas.
