Damac Properties hosts senior Russian Government delegation

Damac Properties, the largest private property developer in the UAE, is hosting a high level Russian government delegation headed by Vladimir Resin, First Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

Mr. Resin, who arrives in Dubai today on a three-day visit, heads Moscow's Department of Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction, which oversees the Moscow construction industry.

'We are honored to receive the First Deputy Mayor of Moscow, to whom we shall convey the importance of our growing ties with his great city, as evidenced by our opening of the first sales office by a Dubai-based real estate company in the Russian capital,' said Hussain Sajwani, Damac's President and Chairman.

The delegation's visit is aimed at identifying prospective investment opportunities, as well as sharing the successful experience of Damac Properties in Dubai's booming real estate sector.

Their program includes a tour of some of the company's project sites and a presentation by Damac Executives of the company's model for real estate development.

The VIP delegation includes Iosif Ordzhonikidze, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Foreign Relations and Economic Activities at the Moscow City Government, Vladimir Malyshkov, Moscow City Government Minister and Head of the City Consumer Market and Services Department, Alexander Kuzmin, Head of the Moscow City Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction Complex, Victor Damurchiev, Head of the Moscow City Land Resources Department, and Sergey Yakovlev, Russian Ambassador to the UAE.

'After the First Deputy Mayor's visit to the UAE, we hope that the business community in Russia will become better acquainted with the investment opportunities that exist in Dubai, and especially within our group,' added Sajwani.
