Al Jaber Optical opens in Bin Sougat Centre
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, November 20 - 2004 at 09:54
- PRESS RELEASE
Al Jaber Optical, one of the leading optical companies in the UAE, has opened its latest branch in Bin Sougat Centre.
"The opening of Al Jaber Optical in Bin Sougat is part of our expansion plan. With this new outlet, we will be able to cater to the customers who live nearby and are frequent in the mall," said Mr. Saleh Al Shawa, General Manager of Al Jaber Optical Centre. "Our continuous growth in the business is one of the reasons why we opted to increase the number of our outlets. By having branches in major areas of the country such as Bin Sougat, we become easily accessible to our valued and loyal customers, who throughout the years have supported us and our products and made us one of the top optical companies in UAE," Mr. Al Shawa added.
All of Al Jaber Optical's branches have the same open plan format, where almost all the frames are displayed on the wall or dividers. Customers are free to browse and try on different models at their leisure. There is no pressure to buy and no salesperson will follow you around if you get your hands on the more expensive brands.
Another unique point at Al Jaber is its one-hour turnaround for single lenses: the fastest in the UAE. They also take orders for contact lenses over the phone. Al Jaber Optical uses a computerised tracking system. So all its customers from a particular branch can go to any of its other branches and have their files easily accessed.
The Bin Sougat outlet, like Al Jaber Optical's other branches, offers the same extensive collection of international brands of vision care products - either for cosmetic use or vision correction - such as Mont Blanc, Ray-Ban, Christian Dior, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Giorgio Armani, Killer Loop, Cartier, Chanel, Vogue, Oakley, Nike, Carrera, Oxydo, Adidas, Longines, BlueBay, Burberry, and Luxottica.
The optical centre is also known for Lindberg titanium frames: the lightest in the world, weighing less than 3 grams. It has also launched Chromagen™, a special type of lens by optical manufacturers Cantor + Nissel, for the colour blind and dyslexics. Chromagen™ is a boon for people who suffer from either colour deficiency or academic skills disorder (ASD™), including dyslexia. These lenses can also help people pass the colour-blindness test, which is now a prerequisite for the application of driving licences. Al Jaber Optical Centre is the first and only optical establishment in the UAE to launch a revolutionary product of this kind.
Al Jaber Optical Centre in Bin Sougat Centre is open from 10 am to 10 pm, Saturdays thru Thursdays and 4pm till 10pm on Fridays.
