The announcement of the deal came during the company's participation in the prestigious Big 5 show, the largest annual venue for the entire Middle-East glass contracting industry.

The recently signed, one of its kind agreement, will ensure that Emirates Glass supplies a tremendous more than 100,000 square meters of its revolutionary EmiCool products to the massive construction of forty towers at the celebrated Jumeirah Beach Residence development. Supply will begin in mid December, with full delivery guaranteed within nine months.

'This is indeed a very significant milestone that we have reached. Other than Emirates Glass, I know of no other regional company in our industry that has the expertise, experience or authority to claim such a high stake in the market and also be able to deliver on its promises. This massive new supply contract ensures that we have become a cut above the rest and one thing is certain, that our competitors will have to sit up and take notice of how we do things at Emirates Glass,' said Ziad Yazbeck, Sales and Marketing Director, Emirates Glass.

According to Ziad Yazbeck, it is also expected that Emirates Glass will comfortably deliver on this massive contract, primarily due to the company's recent investment in acquiring the world's largest glass tempering furnace.

'One of the main reasons that we were able to sign such a substantial contract is our guaranteed ability to meet delivery on our products. This is in no small part due to Emirates Glass's recent acquisition of a super-machine, the largest of its kind in the world that is set to comfortably triple production output at our Dubai plant. Emirates Glass has invested a ground-breaking AED 16 million for the glass processing machines, which is recognized as 'the largest tempering furnace in the world.' There is no doubt, therefore, that with such a machine, all our glass deliveries will be met in a timely and effective manner,' added Ziad Yazbeck.

Furthermore, the Big 5 show provided an excellent opportunity for Emirates Glass to showcase its high-tech products. It also allowed the viewing public the chance to view Emirates Glass recent innovations in all aspects of glass production, including construction, fabrication and the use of façade technology. Products showcased at the show included EmiCool, a cutting-edge type of glass specifically developed by Emirates Glass to meet the municipal specifications and rigorous aesthetic demands of architects and designers.
