The highlight of the Samsung pavilion is the nano-technology and UTR (Ultra Tropical Rotary) focussed products. The company showcased a range of health conscious refrigerators, washing machines, air-purifiers, air-conditioners equipped with nano-technology. Samsung has applied the sophisticated nano-technology to develop a sterilizing function in its home appliances, removing 99.9 per cent of the two harmful microorganisms, Staphylococci and Escherichia coli.
The company's new UTR technology compressors are durable enough to withstand all weather conditions and provides optimal indoor cooling in temperatures of 55°C and higher.
