Middle East welcomes the new NEC POWERMATE VL Series

NEC has announced the introduction of two new platforms: The NEC POWERMATE VL6 and ML7 desktop computers, providing Middle East businesses requiring enhanced completely integrated solutions for multi-tasking environments with the latest technologies, groundbreaking design and expansion capabilities at an affordable price.

NEC POWERMATE VL Series:
Next generation future proof stable and valuable technology

The NEC POWERMATE VL6 features the new IntelŪ i915GV chipset, designed specifically to support the IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor with Hyper-Threading Technology and IntelŪ's advanced 800 MHz Front Side Bus together with the new generation PCI Express Bus that delivers excellent performance and enables improved productivity. The VL7 boasts the same features but also supports the PCI Express 16x slot, enabling support for high end PCI Express Graphics Accelerators.

The NEC POWERMATE VL series also includes latest generation dual channel DDR400 memory, integrated Intel GigaBit LAN solution, enhanced graphics performance with the IntelŪ Graphics Media Accelerator 900, enhanced sound with high definition audio and support for Serial ATA HDD drives improving bandwidth and internal cabling.

Businesses upgrading to this latest solution are guaranteed enhanced platform performances and increased business efficiency.

Two new chassis:
The NEC POWERMATE VL6 is available in a complete suite of form factors to provide businesses with a stable platform that adapts to all office environments according to size and expandability requirements.

The new slim chassis is the optimal balance between space saving requirements and expandability with 2 PCI slots, 1 PCI Express 1X slot (the ML7 features 2 PCI slots, 1 PCI Express 1X slot and one PCI Express 16X slot) together with 2 internal and 2 external bays

The new micro tower chassis allows for greater expandability with the same motherboard, with 2 internal and 4 external bays.

Businesses can also choose the desktop chassis, allowing for horizontal positioning on the desk.
