FedEx introduces further enhancement to Iraq service

In response to the requirements of business customers, FedEx Express, the world's largest express transportation company, announced today that it is making its internationally popular FedEx 10kg and FedEx 25kg box service available to and from Iraq.
The FedEx® 10kg and FedEx® 25kg box service is the latest enhancement to the FedEx International Priority® offering in Iraq, which provides customers with a time-definite, customs-cleared, door-to-door delivery service for shipments weighing up to 68 kg, and FedEx International Priority Freight®, a related service for heavier packages.
"The demand for increasingly sophisticated service options to and from Iraq continues to grow," commented Hamdi Osman, Regional Vice President, FedEx Express, Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent and Africa. "The FedEx® 10kg and FedEx® 25kg box service is one of the many ways we are responding to changing market needs and customer requests."
The FedEx® 10 kg and FedEx® 25 kg box service is also currently available in the other Middle Eastern markets of the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
Hamdi Osman added: "The FedEx box service has proved to be a popular transportation method in the region because of its simplicity, efficiency and value. These qualities make it an attractive addition to our service portfolio for our customers within Iraq and for those with business interests in the country."
