HP launches its first regional Tech Center at Knowledge Village, Dubai

HP, together with International Learning Solutions (ILS), today inaugurated its first HP Imaging and Printing Technology Center in the Middle East for its range of world-class imaging and printing products at the Knowledge Village in Dubai, the region's foremost information and learning hub.

The HP Imaging and Printing Technology Center will showcase the company's global and regional expertise in a unique environment that will benefit businesses, consumers and channel partners through first-hand experience of HP's innovation and insight.

HP has partnered with ILS, an innovative provider of industry-recognized credentials and certification programs, to develop the HP Imaging and Printing Technology Center. The new facility will be located at the Knowledge Village Campus (Block 2B Suite 8 and 9).

Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, CEO of Knowledge Village welcomed HP's Imaging and Printing Technology Center as a valuable addition to the vibrant learning community housed at the complex. "Our aim is to develop the region's talent pool and accelerate its move into the global knowledge economy, and we see the partnership between HP & ILS as fulfilling that remits through this innovative development," he stated.

"While Knowledge Village provides the infrastructure for developing, sharing and applying knowledge, and acts as the flagship for learning throughout the region, it takes real organisations to actually implement this culture into everyday business. We are pleased to welcome HP to our growing rank of business partners who understand our mission and support it through their own efforts," he added.

Speaking at the launch event held at the new facility in Knowledge Village, Amr Hassan, Regional General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East said the creation of the HP Imaging and Printing Technology Center is a great example of how technological innovation is being brought to life right at the dynamic heart of Middle Eastern thought-leadership and learning.

"At HP, we are always seeking innovative ways to bring technology to life for our three strategic areas targeting large enterprises, SMBs (small and medium businesses) and individual consumers. Our mission is to help companies and consumers explore, harness and maximise efficient usage of the HP products they use in their everyday lives. The fact that the new HP technology center is located within the offices of ILS is testimony and strength of our partnership with the company and our confidence in their proven abilities".

"We believe that our innovative products, solutions and services in the imaging and printing fields go beyond mere state-of-the-art functionality and promote greater creativity and cost effectiveness. The HP Imaging and Printing Techology Center is designed to serve as a valuable and interactive learning point for our key business and consumer audiences, along with our valuable channel partners," he stated.

"HP aims to evolve a futuristic customer support model for regional IPG consumer products from the HP Imaging and Printing Technology Centre, which will serve the entire Middle East," said Hassan, adding that as HP products continued to get more innovative, support represented a key touch point with customers. "By launching the HP Imaging and Printing Technology Center, we are getting closer to consumers and they are getting closer to HP," he stated.

The HP Imaging and Printing Technology Center will provide a test bed for HPs latest IPG portfolio of products, ensuring that business customers and consumers alike are offered the most informative demonstrations from trained staff on the end-to-end solutions installed at the Center.
