Crumbling concrete concern

The harsh Gulf climate accelerates the deterioration of concrete, which threatens the safety and longevity of buildings in the region. Construction analysts are warning that unless better practices are followed, buildings from villas to tower blocks will decay rapidly. Construction science writer Ziad Mughrabi says that better quality concrete is needed.
