Spending sprees for lucky 'Exclusive Shoppers'
- Bahrain: Saturday, November 27 - 2004 at 12:33
- PRESS RELEASE
Bahrain Commercial Complex (BCC), the exclusive shopping centre in central Manama adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel, will be undertaking a thrilling new promotion from 1st December 2004 called 'Exclusive Shopper'.
Emphasising that the mall is open for business as usual, the promotion has been launched to celebrate a new direction for the BCC which is currently undergoing intensive building work. The announcement was made recently that the existing mall is to become an integral part of the new development which will be the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC). This means expanding the number of shops by more than 140 in a centre which will sit alongside the two, 50-storey office towers of the BWTC which will provide more than 50,000 sq. mtrs. of prime office space on 43 lettable floors. The BWTC project is a fast track development and is set to complete in the summer of 2006.
DTZ which recently took over the management of the mall, has as one of its first tasks, formed a Retail Tenants Forum (RTF) which has among its objectives to look at ways of promoting the mall and to manage the overall policies within the centre.
Cliff Langford, Head of Property Management at DTZ announced the promotion saying: "DTZ has, as its prime objective, to manage properties which are successful in any key city of the world. We are pleased, therefore, to be working with the RTF to instigate this new promotion, the first of its kind at the Bahrain Commercial Complex. The BCC shopping centre offers exclusive shopping and and has an elite clientele so we decided to reward its loyal customers by oferrinig this 'Exclusive Shopper' promotion with exciting prizes."
At the end of the promotion on the last day off Eid Al Adha, a raffle draw will be held at the mall and two winners will be selected winning the fabulous shopping sprees to be undertaken on a date which will be set later.
