Citrix and HP hold CIO event

Held at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai, the event was an informative and interactive session, attended by CIOs from leading banks and financial institutions within the Middle East.

Conducted as an interactive presentation by Roland Sin-Chan, CIO of Paris-based Caisse d'Epargne Bank, the event proved to be an ideal opportunity for CIOs from the Middle East to understand the benefits of building an access strategy based on Citrix and HP. With extensive experience in using the Citrix/HP access infrastructure, Caisse d'Epargne Bank is the second largest savings organization in France with 1250 remote sites (even over the public internet) and over 12,000 users, using Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite from the centrally managed data centre comprising almost 600 HP servers. Through the comprehensive, informative seminar conducted by the bank, the interactive event focused on the technical and cost benefits available to organizations on adopting the Citrix/HP strategy.

Speaking on the CIO event, Ian Cochrane, Marketing Manager, Citrix Systems Middle East, said: "At this event, customers were provided with the opportunity to interact with the CIO of a major bank on the benefits gained by working on Citrix and HP architectures.
