Top German journalist study Dubai vision and growth dynamics

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), in line with its mandate to promote Dubai as a top-class tourist and business destination, is assisting the visit of Dr. Rainer Hermann, a reputed journalist of the FAZ, one of Germany's leading national newspapers.

During his six-day (November 28-December 3) stay in Dubai, the Istanbul-based Middle East correspondent of Frankfurter Allgemeine is scheduled to hold talks with prominent businessmen and government officials to ascertain their views and share their vision.

FAZ is one of the Germany's leading national newspapers with a total circulation of 420,000 copies.

The coverage is expected to create deeper interest among the readers about Dubai as the major business hub in the Middle East.

He is accompanied by photographer, Mr. Frank Roeth. The writings are expected to highlight Dubai's vision and dynamics by portraying its leading entrepreneurs and key government officials.

During a visit to the DTCM Head Office, the visitors were briefed about the Dubai developments by the DTCM Manager Missions, Mr. Hamad bin Mejren. Dr. Hermann was presented with a memento. He later toured the new projects in the emirate, including The Palm.
