Mr. Hujair, a Bahraini national, has extensive international experience in the card industry, including many years in leadership roles within the American Express Group.
The incumbent Chief Executive, Mr. Mahmood Al-Koofi, will pursue other interests. The Board of Directors at AFS wishes him continued success after twenty years of distinguished service with the company.
As a result of a strategic review conducted by a leading consultancy firm, Mr. Ghazi Abdul Jawad, Chairman of the Board, briefly outlined AFS' new strategy. This includes market and service diversification aimed at capturing new clients, while continuing to support the existing client base with a broader product range and enhanced outsourcing services.
